  1. Makes me wish that Bandai would do a MG Justice, MG Savior, and a MG Infinite Justice RM Ver.

    1. why would you even NEED a remaster of infinite justice?

    2. MG Infinite Justice, together with Strike Freedom and Destiny is already a good MG in terms of build quality, gimmick, and looks, so i still don't understand why any of those 3 needs a "ver. RM" -_____-"
as for justice, i think bandai could go for justice, and most probably Freedom RM using, hopefully, the 3.0 tech from the grand daddy XP
as for another CE MS that may needs, my biggest wish is that bandai made the Providence, that guy have been stayed too long in jachin due hangar XD

    3. More than likely Bandai is gonna do a new ZGMF frame. So why would they miss the chance to do a RM ver. even if the "updates" are minor like updating the hands (finger swapping) and changing the plastic colors to the "HD Remaster" colors?

    4. Because it would be completely pointless. Why would bandai waste time money and resources on remastering those kits? It's not worth using their injection mold machines at this point in time with all the new releases in the next couple of months. I could understand if they did release 1 rm version a year but they are all good kit in there current state so why would they do that?. Hell I bet the only reason bandai made a RM strike gundam was to coincide with the release of gundam seed RM. From a business standpoint it makes sense RM show+RM kit = money. Release the same kit with slight changes to boost sales of the show and vise versa. there's also people will buy the other kits if they buy the RM strike if they dont already have them. It's really just a easy way for them to make money with as little work as possible.

    5. i think they made the strike RM just because they wanted to match the GAT frames. nothing else.
so if they make chaos, gaia and abyss, i could undertand that, but a new strike freedom, destiny and justice, is in my opinion indeed nonsense.
Of course I'd love to see a Saviour, maybe freedom RM and justice, but not nessesary.
If Bandai wanted to milk more and more, they could do the Warrior, Blaze , Phantom Zakus. which might be easy and good IMO.
      Well, I would buy those...

    6. The only kit here that i think needs to be fix/have a 2.0 is the PG Strike Freedom. It's anime inaccurate (the multiphase cannon position), the wings sucks, and the gold sucks.

      Delete
    7. It's anime inaccurate because it's a Katoki redesign... They could make better gold, yes, and then charge 50000yen for the kit... And yes, the wings could be a bit better engineered, I'll give you that

    8. There is no need for MG Infinite Justice to have a RM Ver..It is not too old and can keep up with the latest Master Grades.

  2. no.... no they arent going to release a new frame. The most bandai would do is modify the existing GATX frame to fit freedom and justice. Making an entirely new frame for the destiny suits would be a MASSIVE waste of money and resources. and even if they DO make a new frame for freedom and justice, they wouldnt even FIT strike freedom and infinite justice seeing as both of those suits are larger than freedom and justice. And the whole idea of switching out the 3 finger trigger finger split hands for the swappable ones is just dumb.

    1. So you're saying a MG Freedom RM Ver. and MG Justice will be done in your opinion?
      HM??? =P

      Delete
    2. yes freedom and justice. NOT strike freedom and infinite justice

      Delete
    3. Well then maybe the MG Aile Strike Rouge RM as well?
Also, how can you say for certain that Bandai won't do a RM series of MG's for Seed Destiny as in like updated versions of existing MG's and new MG's for ones that never got an MG (like Savior)?

      Delete
    4. Savior isn't very popular for one. Even though I'd be interested in seeing a Mg form of it. But who are you to say they will do a RM of all the existing mgs just because the RM 1 of them? Strik was only remastered to coincide Withe the release of the RM show. Why should they waste time money and there limited resources(infection mold machines) one the same kit with very slight changes? When it takes dozens of these machines to make one kit. They rather release all new kits instead.

    5. remastered versions of the kits that are out would just be a waste of money for bandai, since the destiny kits came out relatively recently, and are generally pretty good kits. i DO expect at least blast impulse to be released relatively soon, im not sure about having the other gundams released since they're all transformable and would be costly to produce. I would expect those to be released around the 10th or 15th anniversary of destiny, like what they did with the wing mgs. and by then i would expect technology to have improved enough to warrant RM versions of the destiny kits.

    6. MG Aile Strike Rouge RM Ver.
      - I think this one is likely since it would be a recolor of the MG Aile Strike RM Ver. but with changes to decals and stickers.
      - Could be released as online exclusive

      MG Freedom RM Ver.
      - Due for an update
      - super popular

      MG Justice
      - never got an MG like the Aegis (which recently did)

      .
      .
And going by your logic, if you think Bandai would do a MG Blast Impulse, what would stop them from reusing that mold and modifying it for a Force Impulse and Sword Impulse variation and label it as the RM Ver?

And that leaves us with Strike Freedom RM, Infinite Justice RM, and Destiny RM...

Those 3 are super popular as well, and by the time Bandai is ready to do those, I think it'll be enough time that passed.

I guess Savior can be skipped since it wasn't much. But if it did get an MG, I would be surprised.

      Delete
    7. no what youre not getting is that bandai would reuse the impulse gundam for the base of the blast impulse, recolor it, and package it with the blast pack, not create an entirely new kit. That would be the best route for bandai to take seeing as it would reduce production time and costs, while making an entirely new kit would cost a hell of a lot more.

    8. there are certain categories into which an MG will remade you know...

the main reasons usually: One being that they want to apply newer technologies to previously made MGs, we've seen this with the RX-78 all this time yet we didn't complain. And two is to exploit the nature of the collectors inside each individual, tempting them to buy the newer model.

To say that Bandai wouldn't make new frames for the ZGMF series and replace the currently existing ones just because it will cost them money isn't actually true. If so then they wouldn't have the need to make changes for the Strike-E frames and they wouldn't even have made the RM version too. But no, they made changes to the Strike-E frames no matter how trivial they were and they made an RM Strike, though the reason for the latter probably includes something like them wanting some consistency since they've been doing that with the Wing MGs, which in my opinion, a likely reason that Bandai will make ZGMF frames. Although, I believe that the technology they will use in making the ZGMF frames wouldn't be the same as what they used on the GAT frames. Most likely they are going to be using the RG/3.0 technology to do so. Given that an RG versions of Freedom, Justice and Destiny have already been made, its likely that they actually might apply it in the making of the MG RM Freedom, Strike Freedom, Justice(not an RM version though), Infinite Justice and Destiny.

The last reason as to why Bandai would do this course of action is that...
It. Will. Sell. With absolute certainty.

Recap the reasons I see as to why Bandai might make ZGMF frames are
      1. To Apply new technology
      2. To entice collectors to buy a model they already have
      3. To be consistent with their own products
      4. Because people will definitely buy.

  3. Suiton, you still haven't explained why Destiny, Impulse, IJ and SF, which, to this day still, are some of the best MGs ever made, actually need to be remade. And please, don't say it's so we can get swappable fingers, that just makes you sound dumb and shows what little experience you have with gunpla...

    1. I know Kimmy is a ignorant fool. I explained I my past 2 post 920 and 951 that it would be a waste of time money a resources for bandai. And encouraged him to explain his reasoning. But it's pointless since he has no concept of how business works. He doesn't see the big picture like why release a bunch of RM kits when the could wait a few years and release a completely redesigned kit using brand new technology. There are a lot of kits that would need a updated version before the kits he listed.

    2. Asking Charles Kim for his reasons is just like talking to a wall...He can't reply back because he's too dumb to know the answer

  4. Oh, I totally agree with you. I just want ol'Dwight Schruiton to explain what problems these kits have that could be fixed in a new version ^^

  5. Quick question;does anyone know if gginfinite is taking orders on replacement parts right now? I sent them an email and they have yet to get back to me.

    ReplyDelete
  6. No. From what I've discussed with GG a while back when I was helping out a buddy who had tried to make an order for replacement parts, he apparently didn't get them nor was his money taken. I had asked GG and he said there was some sort of issue or whatever.

So from what I understand right now, GG Infinite doesn't do replacement parts. But don't take my word for it since I'm not GG or anyone that works at GG Infinite. =P

    1. ^^^^Implying he's all privy with his "buddy" GG (who blocked him from commenting on the chat box)^

@anon 1:56 Your answer is no. Team GG announced a while back that the part service took way too long and there were issues in getting the parts and costumers started complaining. You can try genteikits.com, though, they have a parts service

  7. Try genteikits.com they should be taking orders again.
