    1. that would be why it says hg BF
      HIGH GRADE BUILD FIGHTERS

    2. ^ A few days too late bro. The original post was mislabeled. You can even see the mistake in the URL.

      Delete
  4. Isn't that Build Fighter Customized MS? (see above)

    ReplyDelete
  5. The actual announcement is for a Build Fighters kit, not Crossbone X-1. Probably make it after to reuse the runners anyway, though.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Just a heads up: this isn't the actual Crossbone Gundam X-1, but a Gundam Build Fighters design based off the Crossbone (you can even read "HGBF" on the article's blurb). The design of the Crossbone X-1 is totally different from this kit anyhow.

    ReplyDelete
  7. IT IS HGBF,NOT HGUC

    ReplyDelete
  8. That doesn't look like the x1 I know

    ReplyDelete

    1. Agreed. Chest is way different and there are a few other discrepancies I can see

      Delete
    2. That's because this crossbone gundam is customized for build fighters that we will see later in the show , we will see the regular hguc crossbone gundam later

  10. those misinformed people who kept spreading rumors about a "build freedom" can go eat a banana

    1. what do you mean ?
there are no "build strike freedom" ?
      lol

      Delete
    2. That's because the CEtards failed to recognize the silhouette in the announcement as that of a kit that was already released months ago.
Plus there already is a "Build Freedom" - it's called the Build Strike Full Package.

      Delete
  11. Finally we are going to see a Crossbone Gundam in animated form and even closer to the released of Crossbone HGUC!!! Is this the gunpla that announced using silhouette of Build Strike last week? Now I hope that its colour will be black.

  12. i dont care this not crossbone X-1....but finaly bandai make crossbone on HG....

  13. Wait a minute, did this Crossbone Gundam Kai have even appeared in the anime yet?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. not yet, be patient bro

      Delete
    2. actually it did for the briefest of moments when Mao finished building it but not fully equipping it, it appears momentarily in the gunpla eve episode (go back n re look there guy)

      Delete
  14. They are starting thing's off with the Build Fighters version again!! Give us more!!

    ReplyDelete
  15. i think... this is one new mao's gunpla , look at the skirt... the skirt it's like mao style

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Agreed. The backpack looks like Gundam X and no vernier at the wings, but something look like receiver??

      Delete
    2. That kinda makes sense, Big skull thing being demon-ish and Mao get's stuff with the "X" theme.

I hope they can take it further and give him Turn X Maoh or something. Turn X Maoh would mean standard Turn X in the future.

      Delete
    3. yeah, mao's obsession with everything ''X''..

      Delete
    4. nice prediction bro
i think its gonna be crazy if the X booster is replaced by microwave panel and still have (quite) same armament with X-Maoh

      Delete
    5. It looks possible for the skull to be opened, hidden cannon maybe?
GX Maoh's backpack part had verniers but this unit completely removes all of them, also there is no obvious verniers anywhere else could that round thing be a GN drive? It could be using the 4 wings as the only vernier in GX style though.

      Delete
    6. That would be awesome, like something from a Super Robot show

      Delete
  16. Just like HG Build Strike spawn off HG Strike (renew), Bandai would be crazy not to cash in on the Crossbone franchise. I'm so going to buy this kit en masse to show support for X-1, X-2, X-3, X-1 Kai (dreaming) release. GO BANDAI!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. And also Full Cloth and X-0 Crossbone Gundam Ghost :)

      Delete
    2. Oh yeah, forgot the Full Cloth. For the X-0, it's a totally different mold I think. The X-1, X-2, X-3 and X-1 Kai differs only on the V fins and arm mold, even if Bandai charge a premium over the X-2 and X-3, I'm pretty sure they will be drowning in money.

      Delete
    3. Why would the X-0 be a totally different mold? It's identical to the previous Crossbones except in color.

      Delete
    4. Maybe they mean the phantom gundam... which is still pretty close to the crossbone's design

      Delete
  17. dat chest skull is god dang huge

    ReplyDelete
  18. I aslo think mao 's gundam , see the behind same like gundam x satellite system sure with star build strike vs gundam exia matter

    ReplyDelete
  19. Since there is no HG Crossbone, will it be scratchbuilt in the show?
Or modified from a HG F91?

Wonder how will this come in the show since GBF's timeslot still has 6 more weeks before a new show takes over.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Keep in mind that GBF is set in the future.
So every customized kit we see we'll see their original counterparts in real life :)

      Delete
    2. Damn Felini had that Wing ever since he was a kid. How I wish HGAC Wing came out while I was about 10.

      Delete
    3. I guess in their future theres no Gundam AGE :P

Well its a fictional future so anything goes.

      Delete
    4. actually, there is one kit (that i recall) that have a genoace head from gundam age..

  20. I have a feeling this is Mao's gunpla, the shoulder armors and skirt designs, and backpack design (I have a gut feeling that he re-used and redesigned the Maoh's backpack for the Crossbone) could be giveaways already. Majority of the Crossbone's weapon loadout is here, the newest addition are the two katar type weapons. What baffles me is the absence of the beam shield/marker, wonder how it will defend itself.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. "wonder how it will defend itself" - prolly plavsky magic. I'm guessing it flies around using the magic as well.

      Delete
    2. Yeah, given the premise that Mao could be it's builder and user, we could chalk it up to plavsky magic but that's the unconventional way of defending itself. I was wondering how it could defend itself in a conventional way.

      Delete
    3. Plavsky magic seems to have become more conventional for the younger fighters while the older guys rely on standard weapons.

This guy seems to have a GN drive though so I think it's defense and mobility rely on that.

  23. This may be my new favorite of the crossbones...

    ReplyDelete

    1. Agreed, that chest skull is totally badass, and the new weapons and details just make it that much better.

      Delete
  24. it's look like crossbone and x mao combined, maybe it's ultimate attack going to be the upgraded sattelite sword that x mao used in it's fight with build strike

    ReplyDelete
  25. It sure has a lot of melee beam weapons!

    ReplyDelete
  26. i have a feeling that Mao made this because if you look closely at it back it has solar panels on its back and its arms and legs so this proves that theres probably going to be a season 2 or its gonna be 50 episode

    ReplyDelete
  27. I realy love this one but hopefully that skull chest can be remove :) Seriously I love this Crossbone designbut that skull chest seems like..........................oh well

    ReplyDelete
  28. If you look carefully at where the beam sabers are stored on the backpack, it's actually an arm joint similar to X Maoh's that connects to its Hyper Satellite Cannon

    ReplyDelete
  29. Would be awesome if it WAS Maoh's new gunpla. But I think it's more likely the next opponent of Meijin. Unless that was already shown and I missed it...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hmm yes...

      Sei/Reiji, Aila, Kawaguchi and ???
What will the last of the best 4 come up with?

But its an April release, a bit too late.
Or it will show in anime before release?
But its not on the anime official site yet, Dark Matter and Ms Sazabi are already there.

So the last best 4 will see swift defeat? Or we won't see anything at all?
Or just the aftermath of a relieved Patrick saying he survived :P

      Delete
    2. This was Maoh's new gunpla, you watched the finale, right?

      Delete
    3. lol look at this smartass replying to a comment a month ago

      Delete
  30. Looks like Mao is a fan favourite :P

Was thinking if Mao made something new, he would stick to his mid/long range design with a killer super long range weapon.
Thus I don't see the "Mao" in this one.

    Melee fighters, Reiji? Kawaguchi?

Perhaps its when Yuuki thinks the Meijin title is invalid (get out of PPSE? fulfilled whatever motive?) and returns with the Crossbone Kai as Yuuki?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I feel like the Zanbuster would be Mao's long range weapon.

      Delete
  31. Going with the Mao theme. I'm guessing. Mao got so tormented by losing his girl, creates a gothic looking gunpla to reflect his despair. Hahaha.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I like when the gunpla has a backstory... yeah I am talking to you Mr. Bearguy

      Delete
  32. Well, the Gundam X Maoh just got completely wrecked by the Gundam F91 Imagine... I guess Mao's building the Crossbone because it's essentially an improvement over the F91?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes, and as we know Miss Sazabi is Ayla next unit, then most probably this Crossbone Kai will be Mao's next unit, and maybe the others will get their next unit too

      Delete
    2. maybe this crossbone gundam belongs to Julian (f91 image guy) ,you know that guy is so strong

      Delete
    3. C'mon you've watched the final few eps of the show by now, why would you even think it was Julians when he only appeared in that ONE episode?

      Delete
    4. lol look it's this same smartass again
      seriously wtf man

      Delete
  33. This is possibly Mao's.
    I mean, c'mon......
    his X been wrecked twice.
This Crossbone's Wings has no boosters but if you look closely it looks a lot like the Gundam X's Reflectors. But in a different shape and look.
So well, y'know.....its safe to say that this is highly possibly Mao's.

    1. If I recall from the manga for Crossbone Gundam - the manga version did not show the thruster nozzles present on the Katoki renditions except on the X-2 Kai after it was captured by the Jupiter Empire.

On the other hand, I think Mao did away with the brand markers according to the designs for his Crossbone Gundam.

      Delete
    2. You've watched the last few eps of the show right? So no need to guess or speculate, you already know the answer

      Delete
    3. Shit I'm getting tired of you...do you think that people will come back and look at their fucking comments they posted weeks ago? You think that they can edit or delete their comments after they've confirmed their idea? You think they'll reply to themselves saying YES I WAS RIGHT, what the fuck man?

      Delete
  34. And there is the gimmick in the chest. Everyone was right about there being a cannon in the skull. And it looks awesome

    ReplyDelete
  35. badass chest skull :D

    ReplyDelete
  36. Double Peace Hands
    Chest Satellite Cannon
    Preorder in 3... 2... 1...

    ReplyDelete
  37. So bought! This one is awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  38. MG this please!! D:

    ReplyDelete
  39. This design remove the limitation of needing a cockpit for a MS as the location of the cannon is around where the cockpit in original Crossbone Gundam is as in GBF, the MS don't need a cockpit. Also I coulnd't find any thruster on this guy on its backpack.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It could still have a cockpit the crossbone is essentially hollow in the torso and w/out a corefighter a cockpit could easily fit there... though how one would get to it... and I'm pretty sure it uses the gundam x's flight system

      Delete
    2. if you look carefully, there's a panel line above the skull head, probably that's the cockpit hatch, i think there's enough space above the cannon for cockpit block.

      Delete
    3. you wouldn't sit near a satellite cannon though would you

      Delete
  40. Skull Satellite Cannon.
And that Arm Pack underneath the Reflector Mirror Unit.
    Cool :P

How about putting it into a future Crossbone story as X4? lol :P
    Reminds me of GP-04, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I was skeptical when the prototype images were shown, but now I'm completely sold on this. I think I like this design more than the actual Crossbone X1.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I would love to have this in a MG form

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Only if it's not an online exclusives. my x-1 needs a brother cause I ain't paying extra for what is essentially the same thing... and I'm too lazy to paint

      Delete
    2. yeapp X-2 and especially X-3 are too expensive when considering that it still use the same inner frame as X-1 and F91

      Delete
  43. Want more crossbone! I would love to see a ghost or phantom hg or mg the x-1 will almost definitely get a hg, and unless bandi is retarded the crossbone mao should get a mg at some point

    ReplyDelete
  44. What was used for beam effect on Skull Cannon?

    ReplyDelete
  45. And this kit has its own custom weaponry and shield.
