  3. I guess they're using an old kit as the basis. The detail is extremely lacking compared to kits from the last few years.

    1. To be fair, the basic frame was made in 2005. However if you put in the effort, it will look a lot better on your shelf.

    2. They can't really put any extra detail when the basic design has almost none either. The Build Mark II is a ridiculously lazy design made to cash in on an old mould. The original Mark II doesn't really need much detail, its simplicity is a charm point in itself.

  4. The only one with articulated-5 fingers.

  5. Lol. Easy pass? Old kit?

If you miss out on the 2.0 Mk II because you have to put in some effort or because it's old, I feel sorry for you. It's one of the best master grades to date and looks amazing if you work on it a little.

People are acting like this is the Ground Gundam. Its the original 2.0 kit. What are we doing, comparing it to Sazabi Ver Ka?

Lacking detail? It's inner frame is better than Proto Wing Zero and X Gundam's frame combined. And the outer frame has great detail when you panel line it (much more detailed than Gundam X). I thought panel lining are the basics of gunpla building, geez

    1. I think some people have been spoilt by bandai's detail packed kits. *cough cough, sazabi ver ka and 3.0 gundam"
The 2.0 Mk II is still one of the best master grades out there considering how old it is.

    2. you don't get it my friend, they call this MG, so it should appear like an MG not HG

    3. If you think 2.0 Mk II is anything like a high grade you don't know your gunpla. Besides, aren't master grades known for there wonderful inner frames? Not just the detail on the outer armor?

Do the basics. Panel line it. Put on the decals. Then it is one of the best looking kits ever.

  6. Unless you want a ver Ka MK-II, the detail isn't lacking and anime accurated.

Basically same reason people hated Gundam 3.0, extra non-needed detail.

  7. Actually, since it uses the Gundam Mk II ver 2.0's frame it has the three-finger, trigger-finger split with pegs in palms. This was th first kit to implement that concept (until the advent of removable fingers introduced on the MG Wing kits).

    1. Aren't the real grades generally the most detailed kits? Isn't the point of real grade to be more detailed than most master grades? So why are you comparing a master grade from 2005 to real grade from like 2011 or 2012?

You're spoiled. Your know nothing about a kit until you build it.
